Dead Space Remake: EA Shows New Look At Gameplay, Teases Early 2023 Release

EA releases a brand new gameplay video that shows Isaac Clarke in action as he battles a Necromorph. 

Revealed today during a special Dead Space Remake developer update stream focused on the title’s audio, this look at gameplay showcased a small snippet of protagonist Isaac walking around a very spooky section of the Ishimura before he’s attacked by a Necromorph. He has his newly-remade Plasma Cutter 211-V. 

If you’ve been keeping up with the Dead Space Remake thus far, then you already know it’s looking great and today’s new look at gameplay further highlighted that. That’s not all the team shared today, though – the on-screen Motive developers during the stream also shared that the studio is aiming for a release “early next year.” 

They wouldn’t expand any more than that, though, so there’s still no release date publicly announced. Although the team said it had a target release date of next year, it is certain it can achieve that. Motive Studios and EA will be doing an initial internal walkthrough on the remake over the coming weeks. They cite that at the moment, the game’s pre-alpha state means the developers are not yet able to complete the necessary polishing. This date is a good one, as the developers are confident they can finish polishing the game and debugging it before that. 

This stream will get you more excited about the stream. The team has plans for a May stream that is art-focused. It will be held in early mai. Similar to how today’s was all about the remake’s audio, it seems the May stream will be about everything we’re actually seeing in-game.
