Dead by Daylight adds Resident Evil’s Wesker, Ada, and Rebecca

It Daylight makes you deadCast is an incredible mix of terrifying monsters and serial killers. Four Survivors are paired against one Killer. The Survivors must complete tasks on the map and not be tortured or murdered. At Wednesday’s Behaviour Interactive presentation, the developer revealed that a new set of Resident Evil characters are coming to Daylight is the last day of daylight.

Resident Evil’s Jill Valentine, Leon S. Kennedy, and the titular Nemesis from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis These characters are now part of Resident Evil’s cast. They were introduced in the Resident Evil first crossover chapter. It also contained the Raccoon City Police Department mapping. The chapter achieved enough success to warrant a second crossover, Project W. This includes Ada Wong, Rebecca Chambers and Albert Wesker as survivors, with Albert Wesker as the new Killer.

Wesker appeared for the first time in the first Resident EvilHe is the leader for the elite STARS team. Later, it is revealed that Wesker is actually a traitor and has been working with the Umbrella corporation. Wesker is augmented and empowered due to his history as a test subject in Project W, and he’s served as an antagonist throughout many of the Resident Evil games, until Chris Redfield threw him into a volcano at the end of Resident Evil 5. In Daylight makes you dead, he’s armed with a knife, and he uses his training and physique to spot Survivors and chase them down. To infect survivors, he also uses the Uroboros virus to break through barriers.

Rebecca Chambers appears as well in Resident Evil 2 and the prequel. Resident Evil 0. She’s a medic for STARS, and in Daylight turns to night, it looks like she’ll be able to help her allies out with some of that training. Ada Wong is the second new Survivor. She first appeared in Resident Evil 2,While she was a more prominent role in the movie, Resident Evil 4. She’s a notorious spy and double agent who usually comes through for the good guys — but only after a few lies, secret agendas, and dramatic stand-offs.

Project W is set to launch in the second half of this year. Players will have the option to purchase Wesker, Ada and Rebecca individually or the entire Resident Evil bundle that includes Jill, Leon and Nemesis.
