Days Of Doom Is A Turn-Based Tactical Roguelite From Atari

Atari and developer Sneakybox have announced Days of Doom, an apocalyptic turn-based tactical roguelite. This game aims to satisfy those tired of brown and grey color schemes in other post-apocalyptic settings. The action is set against vibrant, colorful backgrounds as you fight through zombies, raiders and mutant lizards.

It will take a lot of strategy to get through the wastelands and into the refuge. Your group must work together in order for you to defeat the mutant forces. In addition to the tactical turn-based gameplay, you will also need to manage the limited resources you have and stay sane as you navigate through the endless hordes.

The eight classes of survivors each have unique abilities which can help you to change the tides of battle. You can burn your opponents and inflict residual damage every turn with the Pyro, while the combination of the Hydromancer class with the Thrasher allows you drench the enemy with water then electrocute them to create a powerful synergy. These abilities will be used by players to take advantage of them and to strategize to beat the odds.

Each run is unique, as it’s a Roguelite. Over 50 random events will present players with risk/reward scenarios during runs. More than 70 items and runes that can be collected to help turn the odds your way in a run. As you progress through the game and play multiple runs, permanent upgrades are unlocked, including party size and resource accumulation.
