D23 2022: All the Marvel trailers and news

D23’s second day featured one of D23’s most thrilling panels: the Marvel panel. Marvel revealed new trailers, casting announcements, and details regarding upcoming movies, shows, and special events in the MCU.

Below are the top announcements and trailers coming out of Disney’s Marvel panel.

You Werewolf at Night

Marvel’s doing something a little different, with a Halloween special streaming on Disney Plus on Oct. 7. This is called You Werewolf at Night, it appears this Halloween special features Man-Thing, and stars Gael García Bernal and Laura Donnelly.

Secret Invasion

The first Secret Invasion trailer was revealed during the panel — bringing Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury to the spotlight, as he deals with a sect of Skrulls invading Earth. The show will star Kingsley Ben-Adir, along with Jackson and other MCU actors Don Cheadle and Cobie Smulders.Miami for One Night…), Olivia Colman (FavoriteEmilia Clarke and (Game of Thrones).

Don Cheadle is back for Armor Wars

Secret InvasionThis will take you right to Armor Wars — which will feature Don Cheadle returning as Rhodey.

Announcement: Villain casting for Ironheart

Tech-savvy Ironheart — played by Dominique Thorne — will be facing off with magic-user The Hood — played by Anthony Ramos (In the Heights) — in the upcoming Ironheart series.

Ke Huy Quan joins Loki

It You can have everything, everywhere at once The star of Loki will be joining a new multiverse for the second season. They took time off from filming in order to make an appearance onstage at D23.

Fantastic Four director confirmed

It’s official! Wavision and It’s Always Sunny in PhiladelphiaDirector Matt Shakman will direct the Fantastic Four film.

An old MCU character returns as Captain America: New World Order’s villain

The Thunderbolts main cast is revealed

Bucky Barnes, also known as Sebastian Stan has joined the Thunderbolts. This team is made up of morally-grey or somewhat evil characters such as Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Yelena (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Taskmaster(Olga Kurylenko), Ghost [Hannah John–Kamen], U.S. Wyatt Russell as Agent, and Valentina Louis-Dreyfus (Valentina). They can be compared to the Suicide Squad in the MCU but with a more sane approach acting.
