Cyberpunk 2077 livestream could reveal the upgraded versions of the game

There are performance improvements on newer consoles, but so far consumers have not had a chance to play the full “next-gen” versions of the game.
These upgrades are actually coming in 2021, as was previously stated. CD Projekt moved them into 2022 just before the holiday season.
