Cult Of The Lamb Is Getting A Major Content Update In 2023

New year, new content: Cult of the Lamb is getting a “major content update” sometime in 2023. A Twitter thread was posted on the Cult of the Lamb official account. This update will bring many features that players requested such as accessibility improvements, quality of life features, more depth, and new difficulty options.

They highlight the most significant change in the thread: the introduction of heavy attack, which can activated by holding the attack button down. They are not slow, more damaging swings; every heavy attack in Cult of the Lamb has its own effect. The sword’s powerful attack smashes into the ground and does a tremendous amount of damage to any enemy within its reach. Meanwhile, the dagger creates a line of knives that fall from the sky, and the axe can be thrown around like a boomerang. Massive Monster, the developer of this iceberg says that it is only a small glimpse of the future.

However, the update will not be released as quickly as it should. Last tweet in the thread stated that developers are working on a fix for some console issues and that the main update will not be available until then. It is possible that it will be released at any point this year, even though their release window doesn’t exceed “2023”.
