CrossfireX Available Now for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

Today we’re proud to welcome you into our ranks as CrossfireXS!|S! This has been an extremely long journey and Smilegate is looking forward to meeting you on the battlefield.

CrossfireXThis competitive, free-to-play FPS shooter is at the core. It not only honors its predecessor’s legacy but builds on it. FPS enthusiasts should feel at ease regardless of what playstyle they prefer, as CFX has both Classic and Modern modes.

Classic Mode is reminiscent of FPS games that used to feature hip-fire aim and sprinting. Modern Mode offers more immersive tactical gameplay, allowing you to aim down sights, sprint and utilize the game’s Tactical Growth System to choose additional abilities for that match only.

Our goal was to provide the Crossfire classic experience in Classic mode, but also modern playstyles for console users. This gives players more options, which we hope will allow you to have fun with them all.

CrossfireX’s multiplayer offering will continue to grow, with new regular content updates coming in the future. Although we want our players to explore all available modes and maps, we also want to let you know what we have in store for them.

BabylonWe are releasing a special new map next month. 30 players will be able to utilize various elements spread out across this huge battlefield in order to contribute to their team’s victory. This map is the largest in franchise history.

To celebrate the game’s official release, we have put together a cinematic launch trailer to help set up the world of CrossfireX. You will meet Logan, who is the main character in CrossfireX’s single player campaign. Operation SpectreIn the middle of an intense negotiation. As a member of the Black List mercenary group, one of Crossfire’s major factions, this is not new territory for him. It sets the stage for what CrossfireX’s players can expect.

CrossfireX offers a single-player option. We’re excited to let you know that we offer both. Operation Spectre And Operation CatalystThe two campaigns were developed together with Remedy Entertainment. You will see both the Black List and Global Risk organizations as they deal with this world-altering weapon through these Operations. Remedy Entertainment is able explore the story possibilities of the iconic CrossfireX factions through action-packed sequences as well as dream-like scenes. Xbox Game Pass members are able to access the Global Risk-centered Operation Catalyst at no additional cost right now..
