Cowboy Bebop creator’s new anime Lazarus has action from John Wick director

Lazarus In 2052 the world is given a drug that can cure all sicknesses. Three years later the creator of the drug reveals that the slow-acting poison will kill everyone who takes it. The five-person Lazarus task force is formed to track down the doctor, stop his plans and save the planet.

Watanabe will serve as the creator and director of the series, but he isn’t alone in making it. Stahelski has been hired to create action sequences. Washington, FloatingPoints and Bonobo have all contributed to the music. MAPPA will be responsible for the animation of this series.Jujutsu Kaisen). There’s no release date for Lazarus It hasn’t aired yet in the U.S., but Adult Swim will be airing it.

There’s also no word yet on when we might see more of Lazarus, but with Adult Swim Festival set for July 22, it’s possible we could get our first look at the series soon.
