Co-op Action Shooter RICO London is Available Today for Xbox

New Year’s Eve, 1999. All of London is preparing to ring in the new millennium — or possibly cleaning out the contents of their bank accounts in fear of Y2K — but the Metropolitan Police has other things on its plate. In the East End of London, a local gang has been quietly amassing a formidable arsenal of weapons and are now preparing to storm one of the capital’s most elite high rises. Can you and your partner take them out before it’s too late?

RICO London is inspired by our love of action cinema — similarities to a certain beloved Christmas classic cannot be overlooked — and we wanted to recreate that same vibe in a game. It is very similar to its predecessor. RICOYou and your partner will kick in doors together, evaluate the situation, and take down any bad guys. There’s a moment of slow motion that both lets players get a jump on the targets and gives that cinematic quality to the action. Combining the cel-shaded artwork with effects, it gives you that feeling of being in an action film.

The buddy-cop movie vibe was enhanced by the ability to play together. But, it is also possible to do it your own way. Randomly generated levels ensure that you never have to experience the same fight twice. It reduces boredom from replaying the same level over and over again.

Hidden amongst the crates of the Ronson Firm’s latest purchase from their Eastern European friends, are a pair of prototype weapons. They are only available to Xbox players and can be found by navigating the normal upgrade path. Each gun comes in a variety of variations, with different names and skins. Silex-9, which features an integrated suppressor and hand-tuned weight, is the most valuable sidearm. TThe ACR Assault Rifle is the latest experimental import out of a secret weapons manufactory. It combines large-capacity magazines and a high rate of fire.

A play mode for Xbox One is also included. RICO LondonIn which the players are challenged to solve a variety of challenges. Leaning into the game’s score attack mentality, the challenge mode offers a brand-new way of playing Rico LondonThey can either go solo or with a co-op team and earn stars based upon their achievement in the challenge. This includes surviving for a certain amount of time, using headshots to kill, not using syringes, etc.

Redfern, Detective Inspector is called to the site of an evolving arms trade near the top of a tower. Redfern sets out to kick-off the new millennium without the consent of her superiors nor the support of backers.

High-Rise and Higher Stakes. Take on the tougher goons by climbing up to the top of this gang-infested tower. You can win more if you climb higher.

High Calibre. You were unable to use the three 9mm magazines you had with you. As you battle enemies, chop and change between your constantly-expanding weapons to best suit each task.

The Perks of Your Job. You can customize your loadout by adding a variety of performance-enhancing upgrades and perks. As the night goes by, you can adjust your skills.
