Cillian Murphy’s baseball lookalike Tyler Glasnow had a great weekend too

Glasnow, who was obviously excited about the Barbenheimer celebrations, had his best Barbenheimer start in 2023. when he wasn’t splitting time at the red carpet. On July 20th, against the Orioles, he pitched 7 innings and allowed only two runs, but struck out 9 batters with zero walks. This included this strikeout on a dirty breaking ball during the first inning.

This was his first season-long start without walking a bat, and he had his third highest strikeout total for the year. His ERA dropped to 3.62.

The Rays were defeated by the Orioles 4-3 after Glasnow left the game. Oppenheimer “lost” to Barbie In arguably the largest box office weekend in history. But “both” Glasnow and Murphy can be pleased with their strong runner-up performances.
