Cherry blossom trees in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom hide a secret

If you’ve spent the past few weeks adventuring throughout the rugged terrain of Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom – The Legend of ZeldaYou may have seen the odd, stunning cherry blossom tree. At first, I didn’t think much of them. The trees are a secret in this game, which is known for its beautiful scenery. You can make an offer to one of the trees and it will reveal all the nearby caves.

You can do it by going to the tree and placing an offering on the dish. It seems like you need to offer a piece of fruit — an apple and a wildberry worked for me, but a carrot did not. Simply grab the item you want to use and put it into the slot. As soon as you have done this, the Satori will arrive and light up caves all around. To find the cave, you only have to move towards the light.

It lasted approximately 24 real-world minutes. We measured how long it lasted. When I moved from one region to another, the light markers didn’t disappear. They still showed up for a cavern I had already discovered. It will dim as you near the entrance of a cave. However, if you move away from it, it will appear again. It’s a huge help in visiting and tracking down caves.

Only a small number of cherry blossom trees are found in Hyrule. The easiest one to get to is northeast of Lookout Landing, a stone’s throw away from Yamiyo Shrine. Just look for the gorgeous pink petals and you’ve found it. You can also find them at the Outskirts Stable, located in Hyrule Field. The map shows the location of each. This trick could be extremely useful given the importance caves have in Tears Of The Kingdom. The caves are a treasure trove of resources. You can hunt for Bubbulfrogs by knowing where to look. Brightbloom ore or brightbloom seed can be used to produce Bubbul gemstones or farm essentials.
