Check Out Layers Of Fear’s Unreal Engine 5 Performance In New Gameplay Trailer
Bloober and Anshar Studios has released Layers of Fear, a gameplay trailer that shows the game in Unreal Engine 5 performance.
Layers of Fear is a single-player game that combines both Layers of Fear and their respective DLCs into one. The game will include a chapter entitled “The Final Note”, which gives players a different perspective of the storyline from the first Layers of Fear. Layers of Fear has been developed in Unreal Engine 5 since the beginning. The gameplay trailer shows the performance of the game, along with its visual and mechanic enhancements.
Layers of Fear support HDR, Ray-Tracing and 4K Resolution. It also uses Lumen global lighting (you may recognize “Lumen,” from Epic Games Unreal Engine’s showcase in 2021), Niagara Visual Effects to create particles in real-time, and Action System Controls for “improvement of the development process and optimizing all gameplay mechanics,” a release stated.
Tomasz Binicki, the lead programmer at Anshar Studios writes in a press release that “Creating games using Unreal Engine 5, is an opportunity for our entire team as it allows us to skyrocket the quality of the game development process.” It has incredible capabilities when it comes down to dynamic lighting and shadows. And the worlds that players can explore are beautiful. We hope that – thanks to the engine – we’ll provide players with the unique, immersive, visually stunning, and atmospheric experience in graphical fidelity.”
Layers of Fear, a new horror game for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S will be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S in June.
