Check Out Gameplay From Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Today during Ubisoft’s Foward event, we got a new look at gameplay from Assassin’s Creed Mirage – a throwback of sorts to the long-running series’ roots. 

The footage shows a couple of assassinations. There’s also a chase and Basim, our hero, taking on some missions. Basim is also shown with his special abilities.

It is important to note that the franchise fatigue was the reason for Assassin’s Creed’s shift away from RPGs. Assassin’s Creed Origins, released in 2017, took the series to a more RPG-like direction. This was furthered with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey & Valhalla. All old things become new, as fatigue is replaced by nostalgia. This throwback will certainly be interesting when it is released.
