We have lots in store for prospective Catanians, who’ll be able to settle here, both solo and with friends through different game modes and challenges.

The board that lives!

In the middle of Catan – Console EditionThe island of Catan is where you will find many of the interactive and visual elements that our team has created to give players an entirely new experience. While you’re deciding on the next move, or planning your future strategy, sheep will graze fields, ships float in the harbor, and each tile will see roads and settlements surround them as play develops with each turn. You will find yourself immersed in a world that truly brings to life the legends of Catan, whether you are an old fan or a newcomer to this board game.

Both multiplayer and solo games

An AI that can challenge single players to create and expand their settlements on the island will be available. But, what’s more is the chance to have fun with friends in a multiplayer mode where skill ranks are used to rank players. To ensure that games are played among experienced players and allow for a balance of skill, we want them to explore the island.

Play local for clever strategists

Catan players find it very appealing to be able to interact in one place. With the option to view your hands privately via your smartphone, you can trade with other Catanians and plan your trading. Being able to track resources securely will further deepen the level of strategy and ensure that friends aren’t able to second guess your next move.

Cosmetics and rewards

We’ll be setting player challenges to earn these rewards and can’t wait to see the different kinds of approaches to strategy that they’ll bring over time. There are many ways to play a game.
