Capcom Details Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Free Title Updates Roadmap
Nintendo launched its Direct Mini presentation today by releasing a trailer for Monster Hunter Rise, Sunbreak. The expansion, which is available this week, delivers a hearty amount of new content by adding new biomes in which to hunt as well as creatures to track down and battle. Capcom won’t be stopping there. A new trailer revealed a plan for free title updates to players in the months ahead.
In August the first title update arrives, adding Seething Bazelgeuse and Lucent Nargacuga to several monsters. The update includes rare and special species monsters as well as a new location in the Forlorn arena. A second title update will be available later in the fall. It adds rare species monsters and subspecies monsters to the game, as well as powered-up monsters. The third and final title update will be available this winter. It promises special monsters of rare species as well as powered-up monsters. Capcom has announced that a fourth update to its title will be free in 2023. But, the company isn’t ready to reveal any information about what you can expect.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is available June 30 on Switch and PC. Check out this review, which was written in 2021 before the game first arrived on Switch. Get more details on Sunbreak’s expansion right here.
