Callisto Protocol gameplay shows a gruesome new take on survival horror
It is difficult to live in space. Even harder is space when you add in murderous robots or flesh-eating mutants. The Callisto Protocol It really is hard to deny this fact. It arrived at Summer Game Fest Live on Thursday and displayed more of its viscous menace that ever.
Striking Distance CEO Glen Schofield was on hand at the event to showcase the new clips of what Geoff Keighley called “raw gameplay footage” from current-gen hardware. It’s still damp, dark, horrific, and creepy.
The Callisto ProtocolStriking Distance Studios was the studio that created the original. Dead Space. The sci-fi horror survival game takes place on our solar system’s most heavily cratered object, Jupiter’s moon Callisto, at a penitentiary called Black Iron Prison. It’s unclear what’s gone so terribly wrong to create such a dark, moist, and claustrophobic situation, but players will find out more by Dec. 2. That’s nearly two months before Electronic Arts’ own Dead SpaceRemake is available on store shelves for those at home.
The Callisto ProtocolIt will launch simultaneously on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
