Call Of Duty Warzone Trailer Reveals New Look At Incoming Caldera Map

Call of Duty Season One: Vanguard Season One has just one week to go before the official release of Caldera’s Warzone map and a trailer.

Dubbed a “Call of Duty: Vanguard & Warzone – Season One” teaser trailer, it oddly has virtually nothing to do with Vanguard, the latest Call of Duty release that’s centered on World War 2. Instead, it oddly positions itself as a travel agency video from a company called Pacific Horizon Airlines that’s about the natural wonders and touristy locales of Caldera.

As you can see in the trailer above, it’s not the usual Warzone-guns-explosions-boom-boom type of video we’ve come to expect when Call of Duty highlights its battle royale. It adds mystery and intrigue to Caldera’s new map. It is possible that all might not be what appears to be on the map as the trailer implies. Even the trailer shows Caldera areas on fire. This is likely because of battle royale.

Regardless of the trailer’s tone, we do get a glimpse at what to expect on Caldera: natural Pacific wonders, a hidden paradise, ridges and peaks, “sites from Caldera’s storied past,” hidden caves, rivers and streams, fields and farms complete with “artisanal organic produce harvested locally,” ski lifts, and more.

With a message at the bottom, the teaser trailer cheekily refers to more battle royale-centric events on Caldera.

“Warning: Pacific Horizon Air is not responsible for any death, capture, imprisonment, forced one-on-one combat between fellow visitors, drowning, parachute-related accidents, gas-related deaths or injury, shrapnel, anti-aircraft fire, tennis elbow, food poisoning, or any other similar instances. If Pacific Horizon Air is involved in combat aerially with an enemy aircraft, an evacuation may be necessary. Caldera travel is not covered by insurance. The use of a parachute by travelers insures Pacific Horizon Air, its pilots and any service personnel against all claims, no matter what the destination is or how they land. Baggage fees…included.”

Caldera flights will start on December 9, which refers to Warzone’s launch date. As previously announced, Vanguard owners can get into Caldera 24 hours before the launch date for Warzone map.

Official Twitter account of Call of Duty also posted a photo of Caldera Map and identified the 15 locations that players should expect to see on it.
