Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific and Vanguard season 2 update delayed

Vanguard: Call of Duty Warzone’s upcoming season has been moved back a couple of weeks in order to allow developers more time to improve other parts of the games, the studios announced on Tuesday. Instead of being scheduled for February 2, the new season 2 date is Feb. 14.

A blog post was posted by various Call of Duty developers explaining that this delay would allow them more time in fixing any remaining issues Vanguard, Warzone, Black Ops Cold WarAnd Modern Warfare.

The planned changes to the games are widespread and come in response to the Call of Duty community’s ongoing complaints and frustrations around the series. Below are some major updates that developers intend to make for all four Call of Duty games, on every platform.

“Upcoming implementations will address several concerns raised by the community and other quality-of-life improvements,” the post explains. “Adjusting the core gameplay loop, mechanics, and balance is a continuing and important focus. Fixes will apply to your platform of choice — two generations of consoles and PC — as well as gameplay in general across all five systems.”

It is now the second consecutive time that majors have been awarded. Warzone PacificUpdate has been delayed. The map’s release, and its first season, were delayed by a full week before release in December 2021.

Studios close the announcement saying players should expect more frequent updates from them in the near future on Call of Duty.
