Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Preview – Modern Warfare III Gets A New Trailer And Campaign And Zombie Details

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, (not to confuse with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3), has now been revealed in full with an updated trailer and new screenshots.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is expected to pick up the story where Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II finished. Modern Warfare III also includes what Activision calls an “open-world Zombies on the biggest Call of Duty Zombies ever” map. The game will also feature a large collection of multiplayer maps, including some fan favorites. Below you will find some screenshots of the campaign.

Modern Warfare III, part of the 20th anniversary celebrations for this series, will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S PS4, PC and PS4 in November. Call of Duty is not the only Call of Duty series to have a sequel with a numerical code. This is not the very first Modern Warfare 3, but rather the second sequel that was released one year following the previous.

Open Combat Missions are included in the campaign and will emphasize player control. They will differ from Call of Duty’s linear cinematic missions and offer more options and be reactive. Playing stealth for an entire level is possible, for instance.

This game includes all 16 of the launch maps that were included with Modern Warfare 2 in 2009. These have been all modernized and new modes added. Below is a screenshot of the multiplayer mode.

According to the press release for the game, “a large amount of content,” from Modern Warfare II (the 2022 version), will be transferred into Modern Warfare III. In the press release, it is stated that “All Operator and Weapon content which has previously been unlocked in Modern Warfare II or currently available for players will be carried forward from Modern Warfare II to Modern Warfare Lll.” After the launch of the game, 12 6 vs 6 maps will also be released.

For the first time, players will be able to form teams with others squads. Treyarch is developing the mode, which will follow a Dark Aether tale.

A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Open Beta is in the works, though no date has been set.
