Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Launch Details

The launch marks the introduction of new content, starting with Season 01 and ending with the publication of Warzone: Call of Duty 2.0. Take a look at these highlights.

Campaign – Globe-Trotting, Single Player

Explore the next chapter Modern Warfare’s Storyline for 2019 that expands the in-game universe with unprecedented levels of conflict. You can find more details about the Campaign in the Blog from last week.

Multiplayer – Innovative, Immersive, and World Class

Modern Warfare IIMultiplayer is emergent gaming with an emphasis on variety. Twelve unique modes will exist on Day One: Ten traditional Core Maps modes and two Ground War Battle Maps modes.

You can group these maps into any of three regional groups:

Al Mazrah

It is the principal region, and it includes its suburbs in the Republic of Adal. Warzone: Call of Duty 2.0.

Multiplayer will have a number of Core Maps as well Battle Maps based here, which makes it a great place to explore the different points of interest.

Las Almas

The main place of attraction within the Modern Warfare IICampaign, Las Almas (Central America region) has a footprint similar to Al Mazrah.

Multiplayer will have a region with a similar number of Core Maps as Battle Maps.

Additional Locales

Multiplayer locations are a mix of Campaign settings and places outside of the main storyline. This adds to the richness of the universe and gives glimpses into what’s happening elsewhere.

Special Ops – Replayable Co-Op, Raids Coming in Season 01

Special Ops is an evolution of the original mode. Modern Warfare — Call of Duty (2019). Three missions will be featured at the launch. All three of them take place in Al Mazrah

Poor Situation

To find out information and evidence that Al Qatala left behind, you can infiltrate any town at night. Stealth and stealth are key factors in survival.

Vehicle Escape

Multiple SAM Turrets have been preventing reinforcements entering Al Mazrah. You can drive along the narrow streets in a suburban area to eliminate them and speed up to the exfil to flee.

Observatory Defense

A bona fide survival mode. In order to defend the observatory, you will need to fight off increasingly hard waves of terrorists trying detonate explosives. Operators have the option to spend money between each wave for items like Killstreaks and Self-Revive Kits as well as armor plates.

Operators can equip their Backpacks to keep equipment safe and select from three different kits, Engineer, Medic and Assault. There are many items available and different abilities that can be used to support various strategies. Earn Stars and Mission-related Challenges to level up your Kits.

It is recommended that you complete all three Special Ops mission with at least three stars. Before Raids can be introduced, we recommend leveling up at minimum one Kit to rank 5.

Through Modern Warfare IIMultiplayer, Special Ops: Get familiarized with the Core of Call of duty: Warzone 2.0:

Operators – 25 Available at Launch. Eighteen are possible to unlock during the Modern Warfare II pre-season. Two Mil-Sim Operators are included with the purchase of four exclusive outfits, four by default, and four via the Vault Edition.

Weapons – Over 30 Weapon Platforms at Launch for Over 50 Unique Weapons. One to six weapons are available per platform. Vault Edition holders get the FJX Cider Weapon Vault. (Weapon Vault design restricted to Weapon Vault contents during launch). This vault contains all the Receivers and Attachments for any of the Weapon Platforms. If they are not unlocked in the beta period, Beta participants will be able to access both Weapon Blueprints.

Operators – Meet SpecGru and KorTac

Following the events of the Campaign, two private military contractors – SpecGru and KorTac – are founded as special forces for hire.

Both factions can be deployed in Modern Warfare IILaunch Multiplayer and Special Operations. Every player will have instant access to each faction’s default Mil Sim Operators.

Through Multiplayer and Campaign challenges, 18 more Operators are possible to unlock. In addition, four more Operators are available via the Vault Edition’s Red Team 141 pack.

After unlocking, you will be able to access all Operators. Warzone: Call of Duty 2.0 and new Operators in Season 01/02

Weapons – Weapon Platforms and Gunsmith

Over 30 different Weapon Platforms are available for unlocking through Military Ranks. Every Weapon Platform comes with six weapons. These weapons can be obtained by leveling specific weapons within the Weapon Platform.

You will be able to unlock all Weapon Platforms as well as complete all Weapon Platform progression thresholds. This will give you 52 primary and secondary weapons in your arsenal.
