Brie Larson guests as Captain Marvel in Ms. Marvel credits scene

It Ms. Marvel The Disney Plus show is unique. This series gives Kamala Khan an entirely new origin story, as well as the possibility to have different powers. It also has a strong visual identity that is more consistent with other MCU-related shows. The first season is a fun time with some big action moments, but doesn’t shy away from the quieter, slice-of-life moments that make it really feel like a coming-of-age teen comedy.

Ms. Marvel The show is about a young girl who falls in love with the Avengers, and then suddenly gains superpowers. Kamala Khan loves Marvel comics and Disney Plus. In the Disney Plus show, she dresses as Captain Marvel, and her dad matches her Hulk costume. Kamala chose a superhero moniker to pay homage to her favourite caped hero.

A classic MCU appearance was just a matterof time, wasn’t it?

Kamala disappeared in a bizarre flurry of energy. Inexplicably, her hero — Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel — appeared in her place, played by Brie Larson. Carol seemed as lost as her audience when she found herself suddenly in a bedroom stuffed with Carol Danvers memorabilia. It was then over that the audience knew Ms. Marvel would come back. Marvels.

Obviously, Carol’s cameo in Ms. MarvelIt is quite different. Does this even count as the two heroes “meeting?” Probably not, but we can look to Marvels for Kamala’s true fangirl moment. And in the meantime we can discuss Carol’s new look. Do you prefer three-quarter sleeves with fingerless gloves or the full length of your arm? Pants and jacket? We love to see a casual superhero space uniform.
