Brendan Fraser joins DC’s Batgirl movie cast, possibly as villain Firefly

Brendan Fraser, part of the New Brendan Fraser Project is returning to DC. BatgirlMovie, Deadline Reports on Monday.

While we don’t know for sure who Fraser is playing yet, Deadline says that the MummyAn actor might play the role of Batman’s villain Firefly. Firefly is Garfield Lynns, a pyromaniac. Lynns, who suffered severe burns from an accident that involved a chemical fire he had started, creates a fireproof suite in order to aid him in his efforts to torch Gotham City.
