Blizzard reveals pre-patch dates for Wrath of the Lich King Classic

Wrath of the Lich King ClassicThe release date for Sept. 26 is quickly approaching. World of WarcraftFans can enjoy the nostalgia re-release starting Aug. 30, with the pre-expansion patches. Pre-patch introductions Wrath of the Lich-King’s systems to World of Warcraft ClassicThese services include character reworks such as balancing and Inscription. Landscape updates are also available for Capital Cities Stormwind and Orgrimmar.

The game’s first hero class will join the fray on Aug. 30 as well. Players can create one Death Knight free of restriction, although any additional Death Knights created will require a level 55 character on the realm, and there’s a limit of one Death Knight per player per realm. Death Knights are the first class to not start at level 1; instead, they start at level 55, and they get a long introduction that explains how they broke free of the Lich King’s will and returned home to join either the Horde or the Alliance.

The Zombie Plague, which causes the mysterious Scourge to spread through major cities in the US, begins on Sept. 6. Next, the Scourge Invasion starts on September 13. You can visit Necropolis in the Azeroth world to defeat the waves of Scourge that have sprung from crystals. The Invasion continues until September 26th. Wrath of the Lich KingsPlayers can now travel back to Northrend via the Howling Fjord, Borean Tundra or both
