Black Adam Electrifies In This Debut Clip From Dwayne Johnson’s Movie

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and director Jaume Collet-Serra’s superhero passion project is still a way off, but DC Fandome gave fans a look at the upcoming film, including a clip of the electrifying introduction of Black Adam.

The clip that introduces Johnson’s character, the title of the film, suggests we might be seeing a brutal Black Adam depiction. 

Johnson reveals Black Adam has entered the post-production process, gearing up for its release in theaters on July 29, 2022. You can see some concept art, and an excerpt from the movie in the video. New footage captures a woman reading ancient text found on the floor of a stone quarry after she discovered a levitating Crown. The scripts become glowing and the darkness is broken by lightning when the woman reads the word “Shazam”. The bolt struck and a black hooded Adam rose from the ground. The soldier is electrocuted by him and he’s burned to the bones. Adam then glides through the air, as a hail of useless bullets bounces off his dark suit.
