BioShock Creator’s Ghost Story Games Reveals First Title, Judas

Ghost Story Games, the team led by BioShock creator Ken Levine, finally unveiled its first project. This project is called Judas and BioShock fans will be delighted to hear about it.

To say this title follows in BioShock’s footsteps would be an understatement. From its industrial sci-fi look to its first-person dual-wielding, superpowered action, Judas sports the familiar trappings of Levine’s work at Irrational Games. Ghost Story described it as a narrative-driven single-player shooter, and gave this intriguing synopsis.

You are Judas, the troubled and mysterious Judas. You can only survive if you make and break alliances against your most hated enemies. Will you work together to fix what you broke – or will you leave it to burn?”

After closing Irrational in 2013, Levine founded Ghost Story Games. He only took on a few designers from Irrational. They’ve been working on its first title ever since. After years of mostly silence, many wondered if we’d see anything come out of the studio; it was reported earlier this year that the team’s first project had gone through a rocky patch. So it is nice to finally witness the fruit of their labour.

Judas does not have a release date, but will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
