Best gaming deals: Asus ROG Ally, Xbox Elite Series 2, and more

Black Friday may be a couple of weeks off, but retailers are already offering some great deals that you should check out. Best Buy is offering a $80 discount off its Asus ROG Ally. Other notable deals include two Humble Bundles, a substantial discount on the Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller, and a few of my personal board games favorites.

As we do every weekend here at Polygon, we’ve rounded up a collection of our favorite deals from the worlds of gaming and entertainment, along with some of the best-selling products that have made a recent appearance on our site.

Best gaming offers this week

As mentioned above, the first substantial discount on the Asus ROG Ally is happening this week at Best Buy, as part of the retailer’s early Black Friday celebration. You can get the portable gaming PC at its lowest ever price of $619.99. People with a My Best Buy Plus subscription or a Total membership can also get $20 extra off.

While the ROG Ally is substantially more expensive than the Steam Deck, which starts at $399.99, Asus’ model has several perks: amore powerful processor, 512 GB of storage, a larger 1080p display with a fast refresh rate, plus it natively runs Windows 11.

Humble is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Warner Brothers Studios this year by bringing you another awesome bundle that includes some of the most popular titles in the WB Games catalog. The “Play the Legends” bundle lets you scoop up 12 awesome games for just $15 (redeemable on Steam), all while benefitting a nonprofit organization.

Even after the introduction of the more affordable Xbox Elite Series 2 Core controller, I’d still consider the original Elite Series 2 controller the gold standard gamepad for Xbox and PCs. This controller is normally $179.99 but you can pick it up at Walmart and the Microsoft Store right now for about $123, which is just a few bucks more than the Core Controller that has fewer parts.

Both the Core and its more expensive equivalent are identical in terms of functionality. They both have adjustable trigger and thumbstick stops. The standard Elite Series 2 Controller comes with swappable thumbsticks and an alternative D-Pad. It also includes a charging station. These components are available as a bundle for $59.99, which makes this Elite Series 2 deal even better.

Humble’s latest collection of games is only $16 and includes everything from narrative FPS adventures to turn-based RPGs. There’s something for everyone in the “IGN Editors’ Choice” bundle, whether you’re itching to lop some heads in the lighthearted, yet incredibly violent Chivalry 2If you would like to know why, click here. Target has announced that starting Sunday, Nov. 5 you can get a game for free when you buy two titles of the same or higher value. It is available in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. Super Mario Bros. MovieAmazon currently has the 4K Bluray for only $22.49, (was previously $29.99) and includes a 1080p Bluray as well as digital copies of the movie. If you don’t have have a way to play 4K Blu-rays, maybe just the Blu-ray version is for you. It’s just $12.86 (was $19.99).
