Best gaming deals: Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Tabletop, and more

Nintendo launched two new Switch bundles this week. While we can’t deny the allure of the bright-red, Mario-themed Switch OLED , we’d recommend checking out the Animal Crossing Switch Lite bundles that are currently available at Walmart and Target , which package the handheld with a free copy of the cozy island management game.

Target has some great deals on tabletop gaming this weekend for Circle members only. Amazon also offers discounts for Cyberpunk graphic novels.

There are plenty of other excellent weekend deals to check out, so we’ve rounded up a collection of our favorite discounts from the worlds of gaming and entertainment, along with some of the best-selling products that have made a recent appearance on our site.

In my opinion, any bundle that involves Animal Crossing on a console is worth it. You haven’t yet had a chance to play Animal Crossing. Animal Crossing New Horizons yet, or just want to invite some new friends to your island, Nintendo’s new bundle pairs a special edition design of Nintendo’s Switch Lite with a free copy of Animal Crossing New Horizons.

The $199 bundle is available in two different versions, both with different console color schemes. Walmart only offers the powder blue color, while Target sells the coral pink.

Vicarious Visions’ excellent Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2The Steam Deck is now available for play on Steam. The two-game bundle, which was originally an Epic Games Store Exclusive, is now available on Steam at half the price ($19.99), through October 10. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2 It is a great recreation of both the sophomore and freshman entries from the franchise, which made skateboarding an international phenomenon.

Hooded Horse has reduced the price of some its most popular titles. While several of these games are still in early access, they’ve shown a remarkable amount of promise since launch. So, if you’re in the mood to play something a bit different this weekend, these are worth looking into.

We will begin with Xenonauts 2., An early access title currently available at $29.99 (was $39.99). The reimagined The Enemy WithinFrom 2012, the game was made more accessible. UFO Defense, Xenonauts pulls no punches in terms of its difficulty and complexity, delivering an homage that’s loyal — almost to a fault.

You may have watched the Amazon Prime Video space wars series. The Expanse You might be interested in checking out Fleet Command. This title, which is still under development, offers an incredibly detailed simulation of managing a warship fleet in space. Currently, you can add Fleet CommandSteam Library for only $13.99

The Long War Mod for is developed by the same group responsible for The Enemy Within, plus XCOM 2, XCOM 2, Terra InvictaThis is an incredibly massive game where you are in charge of the preparations for a possible alien invasion.
