Bengals’ Joe Burrow is a Ness main and may win the Super Bowl
Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback, is many things. He’s tall and skilled at passing, can make dramatic last-minute runs, and maintains a calm, handsome vibe despite his dangerous profession. He’s also an avid Super Smash Bros. player, with the most annoying possible main: Ness.
This is the NFL Network’s reporter. Cameron Wolfe, who shared on Twitter that Burrow plays Smash on Saturday nights, getting his filthy Ness habit in before he plays the game he’s actually paid to play on Sunday.
Joe Burrow said that he plays Super Smash Bros most Saturdays, before he goes on to film his work.
Burrow said that he was a Ness primary. Fans of Smash should rejoice.

Burrow, an NFL rookie quarterback, is big news right now. He will be playing for the team that could make its second Super Bowl appearance within two years. On Sunday, the Bengals take on the Kansas City Chiefs for the AFC Championship game. The victor will be able to play the Philadelphia Eagles or San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl. They are both competing for NFC supremacy.
If Burrow and the Bengals do return to the Super Bowl, maybe this time it will go better for them — they lost to the Los Angeles Rams last year, 23-20, perhaps because Burrow is a Ness main. Either way, between this and Jamaal Williams’ Naruto shout-out earlier this month, the NFL should consider pivoting to livestreamed LAN parties — they’d be great fun for everyone, and far less injury-prone.
