We are very excited to see the new film from San Diego Studio. MLB The Show 22 – available today with Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and with Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta). In addition to the new features, Legends, and Feature Programs fans can look forward to, we’re also celebrating this launch with the release of a 101 video series, “Learn The Show.”

For new and returning fans alike, this series puts you in Coach’s classroom to provide the tools you need to up your game on the diamond.

Every weekday in April, we’ll be sharing a new “Learn The Show” video in this series on our social channels (TwitterFacebook, Instagram and YouTube to help answer your questions. A complete library is available at the MLB The Show site: Learn the Show.

We’ve also been working on a lot of great new features for all our fans, returning and new. These are just some of the exciting new features you can look forward to. MLB The Show 22:

Road To the Show and Ballplayer

We’ve received a lot of community feedback and are happy to confirm we’ve addressed some of those requests. We hope you’re as excited as we are!

• Multiple ballplayers can be created now. You can customize them to help you move beyond the Road to the Show personal Baseball RPG experience.
• Our pitching system is more flexible. Our new pitch selection system gives you complete flexibility in your repertoire.
• Increased variety of missions and advancement opportunities via Ballplayer Programmes make it easy to upgrade your player.
• New and updated Dynamic Challenges. For example, drive a runner back home by using a power-swing or normal swing. These are only a few of the many new challenges that offer new rewards.

Gameplay: Pitching, Hitting. Fielding

• We have expanded the difficulty range to assist our beginners fans.
• To practice fielding, you can make perfect throws and turn double plays.
• Users can select the starting point of their PCI with PCI Lock. This allows them to choose from 9 different spots, making it much easier to place it where they want.
• How easy you can spot pitches in the strike area with Dynamic Perfect Accuracy Area
• There are hundreds of different animations for fielding, throwing and catching.

Diamond Dynasty

• The Franchise Players are Back!
  • In the inaugural Featured Programm of the year, one 90 OVR OVR player represents each MLB team!
  • You can play however you like. You can play single- or multiplayer modes for specific tasks.
  • You can unlock 12 out of 30 bosses simply by playing missions and moments.
• You are about to experience another thrilling season of live content.
  • To earn boss rewards, you can play new programs every other week.
  • To customize your Diamond Dynasty team, add unlockable animations or audio items.
• Roster updates based on player performance are available.
• Mini Seasons is a new mode that allows you to interact with the CPU while playing with your Diamond Dynasty team.
• Diamond Dynasty has 150+ Legends for you to find and create a dominating squad to play with the all-time greats and today’s stars.

Cross-play and Progression

• Invite friends, play with all PlayStation and Xbox platforms, as well as the Nintendo Switch.
  • Register for your MLB The ShowAccount on TheShow.com. Once you have linked your PlayStation, Xbox and/or Nintendo Switch to your account, everything is done.
  • As you’re creating your new linked accounts, be sure to sign up for The Scouting Report. We can provide you with the latest MLB The Show 22, information, and subscribers get an exclusive package each month beginning April. To get started, visit www.theshow.com.
