Bayonetta 3 Release Date Announced With Over-The-Top Trailer

Bayonetta shocked everyone last September when she popped up again. The titular witch transformed, dodged, and shot her way through massive monstrosities. While we knew the action adventure would only be available on Switch this year (and it was), Nintendo has announced that October 28 will see the release of the trailer with an overly extravagant trailer. The enemy and hero design of Platinum Games for this franchise are still stunning. Bayonetta sports butterfly wings and tentacled horns in some action sequences, while enemies take the form of armored animals – homunculi, artificial bioweapons. The game will have you riding grotesque crawlers up high-rise buildings, firing canons out of a moving train and playing as Viola, the new katana-wielding Witch-in-Training. Let’s not forget you have the ability to summon an all-powerful Kaiju. This is as crazy and bizarre as one would expect, but it’s also the most entertaining. 

Bayonetta 3 is available for Switch on October 28. The game’s Trinity Masquerade Edition will be also available. It features a 200-page book of art. We will reveal more details about the exclusive version later.
