Battlefield 2042 Update 3 is mostly minor improvements and bug fixes

DICE released another patch to improve its performance Battlefield 2042, and this time around it’s mostly dedicated to fixing some of the game’s lingering bugs and introducing some small quality-of-life upgrades. On Wednesday, the patch was made available along with extensive patch notes that details all of the DICE changes to the game.

The biggest change is a UI upgrade that clarifies a few crucial pieces of information. Players who have been downed can now see whether there is anyone within 50m of them. This will allow them to determine if they might be revived by someone. The game will also show the downed player if their reviver pings that they’re on their way. The game is also very helpful. Battlefield 2042’s HUD will now display an icon above friendly players’ heads if they need additional ammo or healing. If you own the item, this will allow you to help them.

DICE also updated the game’s attachment menus to make them less cumbersome, including the in-game Plus Menu, which is used to change attachments in-game. The patch notes don’t describe exactly what the developer changed, but they do say that it should require fewer button presses to make important changes now.

This patch includes numerous bug fixes as well as minor improvements. Matchmaking and cross-platform invitations will be easier. The game’s menus should also perform more smoothly, especially when transitioning out of a multiplayer game.

There are many improvements, tweaks and upgrades to the site. Battlefield 2042’s Update 3, it’s worth noting that some of players’ most-requested features still aren’t there. This patch doesn’t implement voice chat, and it does not include a complete scoreboard. The patch notes also don’t include any details about when either feature might be available.
