BarbarianGeorgina Camp (Stars)Black Mirror) as a renter and Bill Skarsgård (It() is her uninvited rental-house tenant who is either the cause or victim of something horrible.

The trailer opens with Campbell’s character traveling to Detroit for a job interview and knocking on the door of the rental house she’s set to stay in. It’s either a great red herring or a preview of his fate. The trailer also boasts that it’s from “a” producer of It and “an” executive producer of The GrudgeThis is funny, and it’s very particular.

Even more important, Barbarian is written and directed by Zach Cregger of sketch comedy group Whitest Kids U’Know. Cregger had never before directed horror projects, but Jordan Peele (You must get out, nopeThe move from sketch comedy and horror to one another can be a success, as shown by the above image.
