Bandai Namco Announces Pac-Man World Remake Coming This August

Bandai Namco announced the release of Pac-Man World Re-Pac, a remake of Pac-Man World. The remastered 1999 PlayStation 1 game will be released this August. It features a revamped graphic and other improvements.

Pac-Man World places you in Pac-Man’s shoes as he navigates six different worlds to save his friends. There are five worlds, each with its own boss battle. Pac-Man’s skills include the ability to rev roll, butt bounce, or transform into Giant Pac-Man. The original game was released for the first time on PS1. Game InformerThe title was liked and scored an 8.

This remake is second to the original 1999 game, which received the first in 2004 on the Game Boy Advance. It was also available on PlayStation Network starting in 2013, under the PSOne Classics brand. But, it is not included in the PlayStation Plus Premium’s classic catalogue.

Pac-Man World: Re-Pac launched on August 26.
