Awakening Armor location in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

It is important to note that the word “you” means “you”. Awakening Armor This mysterious piece of equipment is called Tears of the Kingdom: The Legend of Zelda. It not only changes Link’s art style entirely, but is linked to a strange bandit who explored Hyrule long ago, hiding their treasure and leaving riddles for people to solve long in the future.

You can use this guide to turn Link into the cheerful, cartoon-like character he was in an older era of Zelda. It’s fairly involved, and there are some tough fights along the way, so get prepared in advance with plenty of food and perhaps some armor upgrades.

You can find these pieces without picking up the associated quests and the riddles left by Misko; if you’d prefer to skip the busywork, you can skip the first section of this guide. But where’s the fun in that?


Misko’s ‘Treasure of Awakening’ quest

First, you should head over to Goronbi River Cave Be aware of the fact that there are extremely high levels if contaminants in this cave. The heat is unbearable. Idealy, you’ll need Flamebreaker ArmorTo enter. The Flamebreaker chestpiece, Desert Voe Headband and heat-resistant meal helped us avoid any damage.

The Goronbi River Cave can be found in Eldin, in a small valley to the southwest of Death Mountain. The coordinates of the cave are (1423, 2100, 0286).

The Horriblin will appear at the entry. Open the chest by going inside and hopping over the lava in front of your face. Ruby. You can now jump at the lava fall. (Don’t touch it, obviously!) Two ore deposits can be broken on the right.

Follow the path left, past the waterfall that has been broken into pieces. Behind it is a Fire Like. Use Ultrahand/Recall or wait until a platform appears to cross over the Fire Like. Create one using a splash of fruit.

The Firelike will be defeated and you can ride on one of the platforms to the right. Get off where the ground slopes down to the lava on the right, and look up to see a cave entrance (there’s a pale piece of debris in front of it which may be easier to spot.

Inside here you’ll find a chest with an Ember Shirt, which raises Link’s attack in hot weather. The left wall will be opened after opening the chest. It’s there.

You can hear the riddle of the first person to discover the Tunic of Awakening by looking at the carved stones.

“On the Tabantha Frontier, where Rayne, Piper, and Tanagar meet, ruined pillars stand together. The way to my treasure lies through one of the mighty columns. Solve my riddle, find my treasure, and earn my respect.”

The riddle is signed “The Great Bandit Misko.” This will begin the quest “Misko’s Treasure of Awakening.”

You’ll find the area “where Rayne, Piper, and Tanagar meet” on the west of the map — specifically, the Rayne Highlands and Piper Ridge are above Tanagar Canyon.

Take the road to the top and follow the signs. (-3484. 0426, 0278).

If you’re approaching from the west, along the ridge, you’ll have to fight a Flame Gleek It is also a difficult fight. Use water-based attacks (Fuse with splash fruit or Chuchu Jelly arrows) to hit its heads, then attack it when it’s stunned.

If you are able to, avoid the fight altogether by climbing the rock face opposite the ridge.

Climb up the pillar to the southwest. There’s a mossy button on top; stepping on this will trigger a cutscene of the ground opening nearby.

Explore the hole by going down it. Ancient Columns Cave. It is important to note that the word “you” means “you”. Tunic AwakeningDirectly in front of you is a chest that has an abandoned old structure surrounding it. This chest contains, which gives +3 Defense and does not have any special effects.

You can also find your next clue on the carved stone.

“In the ruins of Hyrule Field, where warriors once tested themselves in battle, offer your soldier’s claymore to the two sculpted soldiers. The sword will point the way to my treasures.”

The side quest will now begin. “Misko’s Treasure of Awakening II.”

A large circle is visible as a point on the map to the southwest of Hyrule Field. It is called the Coliseum Ruins, Just east of the Outskirt Stable.

Click on the coordinates to get there (-1147, -1261, 0046). At this spot, you’ll have to fight a Thunder Gleek.

It is best to bring several nonmetallic weapons and lots of arrows. This area has frequent thunderstorms. You will need to upgrade your armor, as well as at least 3 extra stamina segments. It’s also worth bringing some kind of shock resistance, whether that be the Rubber Armor or food.

Use the multiple levels of the arena to get cover from the Thunder Gleeok’s electric attacks, and Ascend to use the bow slowdown time to hit its heads more easily. Our guide on defeating Gleeoks can help you if you’re struggling.

You can solve the puzzle that Misko left after you have defeated the beast. Two statues can be found to the South of the Coliseum. One statue will hold a Soldier’s Claymore. You can use the second statue to the right. UltrahandIt is important to get it as close to an unarmed statue. It’ll snap into place and a hole in the floor will open.

Explore the life of a squatter Coliseum Ruins Cave. Break the boxes in the left to get to a crawlspace which leads you to the BubbulfrogThere is a lot of ore.

Once you’ve opened the chest in the main room and got the Awakening Trousers — which don’t have a special effect but do grant +3 defense — examine the carved stone.

The riddle here reads: “On Hyrule Ridge, in Ludfo’s land, ruins sleep beneath the towering mushroom trees. Connect the southern column’s midday shadow to the northern. At the shadow’s center, the way to my treasure will open.”

Thus begins “Misko’s Treasure of Awakening III.”


Awakening Armor head piece location

The final Awakening armor piece can be found at the Thundra Plateau Hyrule Ridge is located in the northwest corner of the game. These coordinates are -2272, 0866, 0111.

Make four logs by chopping down some mushrooms. Join the logs at their ends to form a long log. Lean the log up against the column on the south. The next step requires that it is midday, so you can either sit and wait until then or light a fire.

Use the south column to climb up and down. UltrahandThe log can be lifted. It will fall if you place it directly on top. But you can keep it in place just before the column and extend the shadow. If the shadow touches the opposite column, a hole will be created in the ground.

You’ve discovered the Thundra Plateau Cave. You will receive your reward when you open the chest. Mask of Awakening. You can now look completely out of place among the other Tears of Kingdom’s artstyle, while rocking no special effects and gaining +3 defense.
