Avatar: The Way Of War Teaser Trailer Shows Off Aquatic Na’vi

Since James Cameron’s death, it’s been 4525 Days Avatar was released in theaters, decimating box office records, and today, the trailer for its first of many sequels dropped online.

According to the film’s description, the two now have a family with kids of their own, and Water is the WayThis is just one of many stories that will chronicle the “trouble that follows them”, the sacrifices they make to protect each other, the struggles they face to survive, and the tragic events they have to endure. We saw how the Na’vi lived and prospered in the jungles of Pandora. We now see their performance on the coast and in the oceans. And, of course, how they do in the sky above them. Humans are also still present and appear to have no problem with Avatars or Na’vi armed in their ranks.

This trailer is filled with drama, grandeur and action. The trailer makes me remember how beautiful the location was. Avatar is, and the last shot of the trailer shows Cameron hasn’t forgotten how to make a cool action sequence. Cameron is the one responsible for Terminator 2 Aliens, after all. Although I didn’t believe in Avatar, Jake riding through the sky on a flying dragon with a gun in his hands and an ax was enough to convince me to get a ticket. Pre-sales go live this year. 

The Way of Water Avatar stars Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet. The film will release in theatres December 16th. Yes, it will also be available 3D.
