From the creators of ARK: Survival Evolved comes ATLAS — the ultimate pirate experience! Exploring a vast, persistent open world together with thousands of players is possible. You can build your ship and your crew. Then sail the high seas to find buried treasure or plunder settlements built by other players. Finally, conquer ATLAS, island by island. Wage war against enemy fleets while you single-handedly command large ships of war — or divide the responsibilities among your trusted shipmates instead. Explore sunken shipwrecks by diving into the deep sea. You can team up with fellow explorers and discover new lands full of exotic creatures, resources, and the ruins of an earlier time. In this quest to fortune and glory, you can become a legendary pirate.

Your Pirate Ship of Dreams
With our ship customization system, you can create your perfect vessel from tiny rafts or dinghies all the way to large frigates and galeons. Your ship can be constructed piece-by-piece. You can also design your sails.

Assemble Your Crew
Hire NPCs or recruit other players to help you in your pursuit of riches and glory. Your crew will be an integral part of any pirate adventure. They can help you find hidden treasure, man the guns, and hoist the sails. Just be sure to keep their stomachs full and give them their fair share of the booty, lest you want a mutiny on your hands…

Exploring a Huge World
You can physically sail across an ocean with over 700 landmasses covering 45,000 km. There are thousands of places of interest in a variety of world regions. Each region has its own resources, animals, secrets and dangers.

Your Identity is Yours
To create the pirate character you desire, choose from many cosmetic options and customizations. You can unlock skills in 15 disciplines that will allow you to play a unique role within the ATLAS world.

Pirate Action
Become the world’s greatest swashbuckler, a pistol-packing gunslinger, or perhaps a master cannoneer instead. Engage in fierce raids on land-based strongholds, swing from grappling hooks to board enemy ships, or unload volleys of cannonballs into your foe’s hull. The world of ATLAS has no shortage of ways to dispatch your enemies, be it at the end of a sword… or in true pirate fashion… at the end of a rope.

Build Your Organization
You want to establish a wealthy merchant empire which stretches from one pole to the next? Have you ever wished to lead a group of privateers that work for the highest price? Or perhaps you’d like to create a government navy and protect the innocent from pirates? ATLAS allows you to create any type of organization. With our modular construction system, you can create a settlement and then build it one by one. Contest other companies’ land, structures, or ships and add them to your ranks. You can truly make the entire world your oyster with the right organization.

You can choose between PvP or PvE play

On our servers, you can pick between PvP play or PvE.
All loot is possible on PvP servers: player inventory, ships, NPC crewmembers and NPC crewmembers. You can have it if you want it. Is it possible to be the most famous pirate on high seas?

Care for a less “cutthroat” experience? You can join one of our PvE servers to collaborate with thousands of players and explore the world, uncover new secrets and fight mythical creatures. Make new friends and build powerful corporations. You can shape the world of ATLAS!

You can play in singleplayer or non-dedicated private sessions
Enjoy ATLAS with thousands of others on official/unofficial servers. You also have the option to play alone in Singleplayer mode or privately with eight friends in Non-Dedicated Server mode. You can adjust the game according to your preference and have your private ATLAS version.
