Armored Core 6 players are doing amazing things with the mech livery

Fires of Rubicon – Armored Core 6, has been out for only a few days, but an intrepid group of aesthetically minded AC pilots have embraced the game’s extensive paint and decal editors to make sharp-dressed mechs. In this game, virtually every mech in existence is being remade. Armored Core 6.Social media is flooded with fully recreated Gundam Aerial XVX-016, Evangelion Unit-01s, GaiGars, Megass, Gipsy-Dangers and other classics.

New and veteran Armored Core fans have shown off incredible creativity, going beyond recreations and making original works, with Ken and Barbie-inspired mecha, multiple Kirby-inspired ACs, and Ronald McDonald’s tank-thread dual-gatling gun mech. One of my favorite ACs is one based on a brown Toyota Camry 2007.

Here’s a look at some of the best user-generated ACs coming out of the Armored Core 6 community, so far.

Mecha classic

It is a very popular color scheme. Especially when it’s applied to light AC frames. Fires in Rubicon.

Gundam-inspired designs are popular. This is not surprising, but xIsparda’s build was a perfect match for the colours and details.

There’s nothing wrong with the cool purple Deception voice. AC6.

Kaneda’s bike from Akira is iconic, and relatively simple to recreate when you slap a bunch of ’80s era logos and anime-accurate decals.
