Arcade1Up Announces Terminator 2: Judgment Day Cabinet

Arcade1Up is a company that makes replica arcade cabinets featuring classic games. It has just announced their latest release. Terminator 2: Judgment Day first hit arcades in 1991, shortly after the classic James Cameron film of the same name. As both the arcade cabinet and movie celebrate their 30-year anniversaries, Arcade1Up is giving fans a chance to bring the shooting game home.

This arcade classic, which was originally created by Midway, is loved to this day. Featuring digitized footage of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert Patrick, and Eddie Furlong, the Terminator 2: Judgment Day cabinet gave players a chance to shoot their way through the movie using two light guns that vibrate and make sound effects. T-800 roles can be taken on by up to 2 players. Arcade1Up cabinets include behind-the scene footage of how Midway developed the Terminator 2 Judgment Day arcade games. WiFi leaderboards are featured in the cabinet, as well as two guns with force feedback and a light-up marquee.

Arcade1Up’s replica cabinets, which feature the greatest arcade games ever made, have earned it a reputation among retro gamers over the years. The latest lineup features X-Men and The Simpsons as well as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Turtles in Time, Ridge Racer and Tron. The company also has several cabinets that feature franchises such as Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. Pac-Man is another example.
