Apex Legends season 16: Team deathmatch is here, but no new character

Apex Legends’ 16th season, Revelry, kicks off Feb. 14 but it won’t introduce a new Legend character — the first time there’s been a new season without a new hero to play with since the battle royale launched in 2019.

Respawn Entertainment is transforming the heroes’ roster into classes that allow them to access combat perks. Six Legends (including Wraith, Lifeline and Seer) will receive additional updates to their balances.

These six classes include Support, Assault Skirmisher (Recon), Recon, Recon and Controller. Respawn will share more information about these classes and the way they balance later this week. To this point, the game’s 23 playable characters have been classified as either Offensive (nine Legends), Defensive (six Legends), Recon (six Legends), and Support (two Legends).

A season premiere video on Monday showed that the game would get a brand new weapon. It’s called Nemesis, which is an automatic, burst-fire assault rifle using energy weapon ammunition. When the season starts, a team deathmatch mode will be made available, which was long requested by players. Onboarding mode (and video) will be available to new players. Players can choose to play with or against bots as part of Respawn’s growth strategy. Apex Legends’ audience and acclimate more players to its highly competitive world.

Respawn’s decision to focus on rebalancing and reorganizing its roster is intriguing, as the studio and publisher Electronic Arts announced last week that Apex Legends Mobile The company will be closed down in less than a calendar year. Apex Legends Mobile introduced two playable Legends exclusive to that version of the game — Fade and Rhapsody. Developers at Respawn have yet to confirm if they are those characters, or any other exclusives. Apex Legends Mobile The main game would include content.
