Apex Legends Next-Gen Update Launches With 4K Resolution And 60fps, More Upgrades On The Way

Apex Legends continues to be one of most explosive and fast-paced battle royales. It’s been growing for quite some time and I was able to cover it today. However, The Warriors Collection is the biggest change Respawn’s Titanfall-adjacent shooter has seen in years. This update launches with 4K resolution, 60fps and other amazing features. Further enhancements are planned.

Based on EurogamerApex Legends’ next-generation version includes all the previously mentioned upgrades. It also has higher draw distances (not everything is possible on Xbox Series S) as well high-res maps. The battle royale’s comic book aesthetic isn’t as impressive as other games, but you’ll enjoy the updated textures for characters and geo-located structures.

Console fans have been waiting 120fps for a while, which is almost certain. EurogamerReports say that “further enhancements are coming soon, including 120fps (more visual and auditory improvements), haptic feedback, adaptive triggers for PS5” I predominantly play on Xbox, but even I can’t resist checking out how Apex will feel with a DualSense controller when the next update is implemented.

Warriors Collection brings back the 9v9 Control mode with a Caustic themed map, Caustic Treatment. Drop-Off will also be available in the 3v3 playlist. Check out the video trailer for additional information.
