Anvil: Vault Breakers Season 2 is Here!

Three months into Season 1 Vault Breakers Season 2, AnvilThe new Swordsman Breaker is now available, along with an updated Season Challenge mode and improved matchmaking. Before we get into the details, we want to say thank you all who played Season 1 and supported us along our journey. During Season 1, we were able to focus on improving our core gameplay and set the foundations for what’s to come. We expect to deliver more features and add new content in the next season. Draken

Draken is the new Breaker class Swordsman and this season’s highlight. Blazing Edge is Draken’s primary weapon. Any shooter of the class Breaker can use this new sword weapon class to perform stylish melee combat. In the July update, additional swords will have new effects so keep checking back. Draken’s skill set synergizes with “Bleeding,” a new status effect that causes increased damage dealt per stack and deals percentage of max health as damage at full stack. We’re excited to see the different builds and combinations people come up with.

Cross-Platform Invitation and Galaxy Reorganization

A new code-based system for matchmaking was implemented to enable friends from different platforms. This is in addition to existing cross-platform random matchmaking. The code-based matchmaking system will make it easier to meet people from discord and other communities, as players can use the same code for matchmaking. Matchmaking is done automatically without the need for a code. It also permits two-player games.

Season 2 will make it easier to distinguish between Season Challenge mode, galaxy exploration, and Season Challenge mode. With Campanella Extreme, the fourth galaxy, all three of the existing galaxies will be expanded into 4. Players will enjoy the step-by, guided exploration of all four galaxies. Season Challenge, on the other hand, will force them to their limits.

Season Challenge Mod Revamp

The Season Challenge Level Selection was made for those people who were unable to overcome the challenges. The majority of people didn’t choose the difficult difficulty. This restricted the options for map selection. The time-based ranking system made it possible for players to restart runs when they were faced with difficult choices.

Season Challenge will be a new mode that gives players greater freedom and more challenging options. The mode will now become endless (there is a cap, but the devs believe no one would be able to reach it… perhaps you can prove them wrong) and will challenge players to go the furthest. The difficulty of the game will be the same for all three planets.

Breakers can also get a random buff for next planet if they clear a planet successfully.

You can make it big with skill, luck and unique builds.

There are many updates planned for Season 2, including new weapons and relics. We want to keep the dialogue going and to make Anvil an enjoyable top-down shooter for all players!

Ancient Vault Investigation Lab
ANVIL is an agency that searches for “Vaults”, the remnants of alien civilizations scattered throughout the universe. Become a “Breaker” searching for “Vaults” and explore the unknown galaxy. There are unique boss monsters in each galaxy. Each galaxy has random planets. You can unlock the vaults by defeating the monsters.

# Breakers
The Vaults seekers, the Breakers. The Breakers are able to use their fighting abilities to survive all kinds of threats they face on other planets. There are many breakers who have unique skills and abilities that can be found on other planets.

# Vault Weapons and Artifacts
Each session will feature over 100 artifacts randomly generated and numerous weapons, making it unique and unlike any other. You will be able to explore a combination of different playstyles by testing synergy between various artifacts and obtain powerful weapons to get the “ultimate” Breaker!

# Death and Rebirth
With their machine body, the Breakers go into combat. If they get damaged during exploration, their mechanical bodies are rebuilt with ANVIL. Your Breakers can gain extra strength and new abilities by gaining EXP in battle. Because death is what makes the Breakers stronger, they don’t fear it.
