Animal Crossing: New Horizons winter Snowflake DIY recipe guide
Winter: Animal Crossing – New HorizonsYou will discover special Snowflakes on your island that you can craft with. However, to make DIYs with them, you’ll need to shoot down recipes from balloons. This is our Animal Crossing – New HorizonsThis guide will show you how to capture snowflakes, and it also includes all Snowflake-related DIY recipes.
How to Get Snowflakes
The Snowflakes are free to float in the air between December and February in the Northern Hemisphere. They will also float in the Southern Hemisphere from June through August. Your bug net can be used to capture them from the air. Listen carefully and you will hear Snowflakes nearby making a twinkling sound.
The winter recipes must be fired from the balloon with a slingshot, just like the other seasonal dishes. These recipes will only spawn during the winter, so if you miss out on them, you’ll have to time travel, or ask your buddies for help.
Snowflake Recipes
The Animal Crossing – New Horizons2.0 Update added 2 more balloon-friendly recipes: Frozen Floor Tiles DIY and Frozen Fence DIY. These recipes are not available from Snowboys, even though the name pattern has been shared with Snowboys.
The following recipes are available throughout winter. Some snow-themed dishes may only be available during certain winter months.
