Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise DLC coming November

Animal Crossing – New Horizons players will go to work for Tom Nook, designing and building clients’ dream vacation homes with the Happy Home Paradise premium DLC announced in Friday’s special Nintendo Direct.

Nintendo presented a 10 minute presentation in which players met vacationing NPCs to learn about their preferences and get started building custom homes for new guests. Players will be working for Tom Nook’s Paradise Planning business; as they design more homes, main NPCs from the island may come to them to ask for a redo of their digs.

Friday’s showcase demonstrated a decoration job, with players using different-sized countertops, lighting options, and reconfigured floorplans to create cool interiors with lots of depth and charm. Paradise Planning will assist players by suggesting certain items to help flesh out the interior, based on the client’s preferred theme.

Animal CrossingNew Horizons Happy Home Paradise retails for $24.99 and goes live Nov. 5. However, it’s included with the new Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack DLC announced at the end of September. The pricing of the subscription was also revealed by Nintendo quietly: Individual memberships cost $49.99 and a family plan costs $79.99.
