Andrew Garfield stars in the Under the Banner of Heaven trailer for Hulu

Andrew Garfield has had a very busy year, but he isn’t slowing down yet. He will be presenting his mini-series. The Banner of HeavenThe trailer for the series, Garfield, who plays a Utah police detective, has a new trailer. He must balance justice and faith. FX Network will air the series on April 28. Hulu and Hulu will also broadcast it.

The Banner of HeavenThis book is inspired by Jon Krakauer’s 2003 novel of the same title. It tells the true story of Brenda Wright Lafferty’s murder and the subsequent death of her baby girl in Salt Lake City. Of course, the story is a lot more complicated, and entangles much of the surrounding community and ultimately the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the state’s largest religious denomination by far.

The miniseries tells the story through the eyes of Garfield’s character, detective Jeb Pyre, a devout Mormon who begins to question his faith as he pursues the murder case.
