It is said that OverwatchThe use of omnics, AI and other technologies to automate our society has brought humanity a close-to-utopia. The omnics rebelled, sparking a global war. Overwatch was the security agency responsible for saving the civilians by fighting back the Omnics. But the agency later fell apart because of accusations of corruption.

It also looks like we’ll be seeing some scenes from the point of views of both omnics and the scientists who created them. The omnic in the trailer at the very end is probably heading to Nepal, where he will join the Shambali order of omnic philosophy.

We’ll have to wait and see what the other two episodes of “Genesis” have in store. Hopefully they’ll move past the origin phase of the Overwatch universe and show us some of what’s going on in the present day.
