An Array of Content Marks the Black Friday Update for World of Warships: Legends

Black Friday is for all of November

Ships? Absolutely! The port has 5 black new ships. The most notable is the Bismarck, a famous Tier VII battleship, which was modified a little compared to its original counterpart. Dante Alighieri, an Italian Tier III battleship, receives a SemiAP shell modification to her main caliber battery. The other three ships are Japanese Tier VIII cruiser Ibuki, German Tier VI Premium destroyer Z-39, and Italian Tier V Premium cruiser Duca d’Aosta.   

Deals? You can get discounts starting on November 7th, with even more dropping on November 14th and 21. The sweetest deals arrive on November 21. Some of these are up to 80% off. These offers will be available through December 1.

British and French Navy Tier VIII Reforcements

As many as six new ships – one of each for destroyer, cruiser, and battleship types, will be available at Tier VIII of the tech tree for Royal Navy and Marine Nationale. This range includes the British destroyer Jutland and cruiser Neptune as well as battleship Temeraire. The French battleship Alsace, Mogador and Saint Louis are all part of this group.

To get the new boats you’ll need to have Tier VII ships of the respective branches unlocked and maxed out, but researching the newcomers from scratch is possible too, amounting to 300,000 XP on their Tier VII predecessors. The new Tier VIII ships are unlocked automatically when you have 150,000 Elite XP from Tier VII vessels.

Pirates on the Horizon

This update includes two new ships, and two new captains. Lady Ariadne M. Davis is the chief aboard destroyer Caprice of the British Royal Navy (closely based on French destroyer Fantasque – and that’s not a coincidence – as a self-respecting pirate she stole the boat from the French), while gorgeous-looking Michel Le Tir is in charge of the battleship La Foudre (very close to the stats of the famous Jean Bart). Both captains sport unique voiceovers.

There’s also a special Pirate Treasure Chest crate available, with guaranteed shiny doubloons inside, and a chance for mentioned ships & Commanders, along with more goods.

The Storm is near

And it’s glorious! Brewing Storm currently has 100 milestones that are broken down into five weeks. Heroic Effort missions and catch-up mechanics will be available for experienced sailors. You can purchase Admiralty Backing to get the Japanese Tier VIII Premium destroyer Hayate. This powerful ship has excellent fire-starting and torpedoes. There are many items included in these prizes, including credits, boosters and camos as well as Commander Progression Items, Commander Credit Items, and many other goods.

Ranked 1vs1 Returns

Dueling has returned! Four instances of 1 against 1 Ranked Battles are featured in this update, which is available for Tiers IV to VI and VII. The captains can show their skills and not depend on others, but they are prohibited from carrying. It is possible to reach Rank 1, while still competing for a variety of prizes that include Steel, Commander Progression items, crates and other goodies. These are distributed after reaching new ranks.

Daring Bureau Project

The Royal Navy has another powerful reinforcement, the Legendary British destroyer Daring. This ship is available for purchase via a Bureau project. The vessel allows for multifaceted gameplay. You have six long-burst Smoke Generator charges, solid HE Shells, and Sonar to equip.
