All of the Kingdom Hearts games are coming to Nintendo Switch

Nintendo unveiled the final DLC fighter Super Smash Bros. UltimateSora of Kingdom Hearts will be presenting Tuesday morning. But in his final presentation, game director Masahiro Sakurai also revealed that Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts games are coming to the Nintendo Switch.

All of the Kingdom Hearts titles and their collections will come to Nintendo’s latest console, including Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMix Kingdom Hearts HD HD 2.8 ProloguePlease see the following: Kingdom Hearts 3. These two original games are the PlayStation 2’s first and second games, as well as all of the strange spin-offs they inspired.

Sakurai didn’t reveal a Switch release date for the Kingdom Hearts titles, whose series celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2022. Sakurai however did confirm that.Kingdom Hearts III will only be available in a Cloud version — meaning it’ll need internet support in order to run properly.

follow-up announcement tweet from Nintendo revealed that all of the Kingdom Hearts games will be Cloud versions, although it’s unclear if all of the older games will require that support. These three bundles will all be made available to Switch users in one title.

Square Enix and Nintendo will share more details about the Kingdom Hearts titles and their Switch debut at an upcoming date.
