25 years is quite a time, and it’s a significant milestone to be celebrated! Pull Out Your Controllers – Age of Empires is Coming to Xbox Consoles

We’re ageing up and heading into the console age. In 2023, Age of Empires will be available on Xbox consoles! Our team has been listening to you when you’ve been asking us to bring these globally beloved RTS games to Xbox and we’ll be doing that next year. We are now ready to launch and evolve these RTS games and bring them to Xbox’s existing players. There will be two new consoles in 2023. Age of Empires II: The definitive editionXbox One arrives January 31, 2023 with Age of Empires IVLater in the year, consoles will be available.

Age of Empires is a game that tells the story of human history. With 25 years experience, we decided to tell our history. As our soldier sits at the fireside, he examines the cheats, campaigns and moments that have shaped this age for Age of Empires.
