Academy Award-Winning Actress Cate Blanchett In Talks To Star In Borderlands Movie As Lilith
According to a replacement report from Variety, the upcoming Borderlands film may need its Lilith. Cate Blanchett is reportedly in talks with Lionsgate to play the fan-favorite, fiery Siren Lilith.
Prior to this role, Blanchett has been appearing in film and television since the 1990s. She may be a seven-time Academy Award nominee and a two-time winner, including a win for “Best Actress” in 2014’s blue jessamine. Blanchett is additionally a three-time winner across three decades at the Golden Globe Awards, also as a three-time award winner at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, including as a part of the ensemble cast for The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. She also appeared as Hela in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok.
