A Newcomer’s Trek Through Final Fantasy XIV (Feat. Sarah Podzorski) | Game Informer Live

Final Fantasy is my favorite game. I’ve played nearly every numbered entry and have beaten most of them. I adore Final Fantasy Tactics. These two films are both horrible. The FFVII victory song is my ringtone. Final Fantasy XIV is the largest hole in my fandom.

Although MMOs never appealed, I found myself feeling like I had missed out on something unique as I listened in my colleagues and friends rave about FFXIV throughout its lengthy existence. Every expansion and free trial had me hovering over the purchase button, but I always told myself I didn’t have the time to invest in such a behemoth of a game. All excuses were thrown out the window. 

I’ve finally broken the seal and dived headfirst into one of the most celebrated games on the planet.
